At First United Methodist Church, service is a key part of how we live our mission statement: Embracing, equipping, and empowering persons to evangelize.
Jesus commissioned the disciples in Acts 1:8, “…and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” As this applies to First Church, we have missions locally, regionally and internationally. There are many opportunities to serve both inside the church building, within our community and throughout the world.
