We are excited to have you join us. Youth groups and classes are a place where young people can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and have a lot of fun along the way. We're excited to offer a dynamic and engaging program designed specifically for students in grades 6-12. Here's what you can expect when you join us:
Our weekly lessons are the heart of our youth group. Each session is crafted to be engaging and relevant to the everyday lives of students. We dive into Bible stories, explore key Christian principles, and discuss how faith applies to the challenges and opportunities students face today. Lessons are interactive, with plenty of opportunities for questions, discussions, and personal reflection.
We believe in the power of play! Every meeting includes a variety of games that are not only fun but also help build teamwork, communication skills, and community. Whether it’s a high-energy relay race, a challenging puzzle, or a silly icebreaker, our games are designed to bring smiles and laughter to everyone involved.
The first Sunday of every month is led by the youth. All youth are encouraged to participate. There is something for everyone to do.
First Church subscribes to RightNow Media, an online Bible Study resource of thousands of videos. Some of our Sunday school classes have taken advantage of these studies, but you can view any of them at home as well for your personal Bible study. There is an entire section for children as well!
